The Online Experience!

As proud Canadians we at Complex Rooms believe that our stories deserve a world stage in a venue that rivals the richest kingdoms of all time!

Since we don’t have that sort of budget… We built an escape room instead!

So how does it work?

The room is set up like a museum that features some of Canada’s stories and history.

This room has four walls and a door. BUT you can’t open the door until the puzzles have been solved and the 150th Maple Leaf puzzle has been assembled.

Walk around the room by clicking the steps on the floor or by clicking the map at the top of the screen.

Solutions to puzzles could be a series of numbers, letters or directions that might open one of the boxes below. Click on a box to see the type of solution required.

Solutions could also require a click or action that reveals a secret.

Explore the exhibits by clicking, dragging, reading and listening. You might be surprised where secrets are hiding.

If you don’t think you have enough information to solve a puzzle, try moving to a different area or ask for a hint. It’s possible that you don’t have all the pieces yet… so keep looking!

Hints are available for each puzzle and, while we will track your requests, we won’t judge or penalize you at all.

A few final notes before you get started…

Your ticket will let you play though to the end of the game at your own pace. If you leave, you can come back and pick up where you left off.

There is no time limit but the clock will keep track of your active time and, if you’re successful, you may appear on our leaderboard!

Everything you need is in the game. (No other websites are required!) Clues could be locked away or hidden in plain sight.
